Distant Survivors

The inspiration for Distant Survivors came from

several volumes of Holocaust poetry by William Heyen:

Erika; Falling from Heaven; and Shoah Train.

Director June Prager has adapted this work for the stage.

The intent of the play is to educate and remind audiences

of the ignorance, depravity and hatred that created and

allowed the Holocaust to occur and provoke determination

to never allow it to happen again.

Distant Survivors has been published by Blue Moon Plays and is available for

production by theatres, religious organizations, and educational institutions.
